What to do in Sandpoint: The Festival

The Festival of Sandpoint has been going on for over thirty years. It’s a music festival that goes on two weeks in August. They have different musicians come and play across all different genres. The first and last night they blow fireworks up at the end of the night. Different local restaurants come and set up food booths. They have an alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink booths and the last night the Spokane Symphony plays. It generates over two million dollars for the local economy and it’s a wonderful summer tradition. Almost every year our family goes on the last night and enjoys the music, while eating lots of food of course. It’s no Coachella but I almost think it’s better this way.
