Never Mind

This style is a far cry from my last outfit post but I love it just as much as my more girly ensembles. Jenn Im of Clothesencounters made a grunge lookbook of her different interpretations and now all I want to do is find a plaid maxi skirt. And re-create every look she did. I feel like the grunge scene with Kate Moss and her Heroin chic look is coming back. No really look it up if you don’t believe me, there was a fashion movement called heroin chic. The opposite of pretty and polished, your goal was took be as pale, tired, and as messed up as possible. The look inspired Kate Moss’s 1993 Calvin Klien advertising campaign. It doesn’t matter if you prefer soft grunge, hard-core, heroin chic, or the more modern and Gothic take on it, it’s definitely coming back.
