Psychology of Summer Food

Recently our family friends have been in town and we’ve been spending time with them up on their property, and having potlucks. Delicious food is always nice, especially since it seems to become ten times better when eaten outside. Summer food almost has a complete unfair advantage over any other season because of how fresh the food always is. Then there’s junk food and classics that you eat in excess because you don’t eat them at all any other time of the year. If you think about how ceremonial food is and how a certain food comforts you, while other bring fond memories, or a certain restaurant has seen many moments, there really is a type of psychology to it.
