We finally got our shirts in for Cedar Post which we are going to wear when some of our staff goes to JEA during Spring Break. This year it’s in Seattle during spring break which is sort of unfortunate, but since our family very rarely ever goes anywhere for spring break it’s nice that I’m traveling. I went to JEA last year, which is a journalism convention, and it was so much fun. Our newspaper scored third in the nation for our category which is broadsheet (traditional newspaper style, the other is magazine, which the paper opens magazine style but it more square than a traditional magazine) 6-12 pages I think. Our paper is eight so for being up against as many papers as we are it’s really cool. The website is also entered into a contest, which we did not become a finalist for, but hopefully this year. I can hardly wait for April and March to arrive.
